When you join an affiliate program, an account is normally set up allowing you to track statistics about your site including such things as the number of people accessing your site, clicks on ads, and commissions earned. Knowing this allows you to make changes to your site to increase website traffic, clicks on ads, purchases and commissions earned. Commissions may be paid monthly or when a specific amount is accumulated in your account. Often, you are given a choice of payment by check or direct deposit to your bank account.
